Cupcakes Stand for kids' birthdays, holidays or weddings

Ingredients for Butter Cup Cakes:
  • 1 ½ cups flour + 1 ½ tsp. baking powder - (sifted together)
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 cup castor sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ tsp. vanilla essence
  • some evaporated milk
  • some glace cherries (halved)
Method:
  1. Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy
  2. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Stir in vanilla essence. If necessary add enough milk ti obtain a dropping consistency.
  4. Pour mixture 2/3 full into paper cups. Top with halved glace cherries.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 12-15 mins. Cool on a wire tray.
