The coating of food with this batter is crispy when hot but becomes soft when cold.
Batter Recipe Using Wheat Flour :
- 60g. / 2oz. / 2 tbsp wheat flour (tepung gandum)
- a pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- 70 ml / 1/8 pt water
- Sift wheat flour and salt into a bowl.
- Make a well in the centre.
- Break in egg and add water.
- Beat egg till smooth and allow to stand for 10-15 minutes before using.
