Thick Batter Using Wheat Flour - Basic Recipe

The coating of food with this batter is crispy when hot but becomes soft when cold.

Batter Recipe Using Wheat Flour :
  1. 60g. / 2oz. / 2 tbsp wheat flour (tepung gandum)
  2. a pinch of salt
  3. 1 egg
  4. 70 ml / 1/8 pt water
  • Sift wheat flour and salt into a bowl.
  • Make a well in the centre.
  • Break in egg and add water.
  • Beat egg till smooth and allow to stand for 10-15 minutes before using.
